Are there any special things I need to know about granny au pair,?

to our knowledge, no official programs exist for "Granny Au Pairs" - but there are some countries where it's possible to look after kids with some other type of visa, which doesn't have an age limit (as the au pair visa always have).

I checked your profile and saw that you want to go to Canada - as Canada has a special "Care Giver" visa, which doesn't have any age limitiation, this should be possible.
