How do you know If I family is right for you?
It's my first time enrolling in the Au-pair process, and have already received emails from families but how do you know which one is the right choice? ALL advice and tips welcome

thank you for your question! Nice to hear that you already got contacted by interested families.
First of all, at connectAuPair you already define who can see your profile when you add information about yourself in your profile. Your age, language skills, nationality, childcare experience etc. all define to which host families you could be matched. After this first filtering, you can then decide yourself which of the families seem the most interesting ones for you and you should then contact those families to get to know them better.
You can have a look at our FAQ, as there might be some tips for you on how to know, if the family is the right one for you. For example, even if the family has the most convincing profile at connectAuPair and seems very nice via messaging, you still should have a skype/video call with them to make sure the family is real and that you get along with them.
In the end it's all about the chemistry between you and the family - it's very important that you have the feeling that you get a long and that you understand each other!
